Why ME?

We as God’s ultimate Art-work are created in the detail of His image, to worship Him through all we do; as co-workers with Him- our Master Creator.

Why fine ART?
The ability to express yourself through fine Art, is a God-given talent, used to minister to people and glorify God through that which is portrayed from our skill and spirit on paper, canvas or into any kind of form.

IN A ONE YEAR CURRICULUM:

(A) Art Department:

DRAWING:

Form, line, tone, perspective and composition. Exploration of different drawing mediums, sketching and drawing methods.

DRAWING TECHNIQUE:

Different techniques using a variety of materials. Introducing theory and different styles of drawing.

PAINTING:
Painting of objects– still life or portrait, creating life and movement on canvas or board, using different mediums.

PAINTING TECHNIQUE:
Learn about different brushes, painting techniques, colour mixing and theory of painting.

CERAMICS:
Learn from the Potter. Use of different techniques, form and theory on working with clay.

SCULPTURE:
Discover form in three dimensions. Learn to assemble different kinds of material using God-given creativity.

WORSHIP:
Portray worship through fine Art. Create Art inspired by the Holy Spirit through media, prayer and quiet time.

PFA:
Purpose of Fine Art, a perspective on influence through the message in your work, and on God’s heart for fine Art.

EVANGELSIM:
Minister and impact people through your Art. Learn to flow prophetically and accurately in your work, applicable to the specific place.

EDUCATION:
Learn how to teach and lecture the fine Art subjects, how to minister as a teacher, and to be a successful teacher.

REFLECTION:
Reflect on what God is doing in you as an individual, -reflecting on the Sunday services and putting it into Art form.

BEADS:
Introduction to the art of bead work and its application in different Art forms.

MOSAIC:
Explore and develop in Mosaic, giving expression through different techniques and projects.

(B) Lifestyle Training:

HEAR AND OBEY:
A practical way of learning to walk with God on a daily basis and growing in discerning His voice.

PROPHETIC CREATIVITY A:
Creating an awareness about the prophetic; passionate dynamics to launch people into the prophetic; relevance.

PROPHETIC CREATIVITY B:
Definition of a breakthrough believer’s lifestyle; breakthrough relationship lifestyle (building in the Spirit); breakthrough worship lifestyle; breakthrough leadership lifestyle.

PROPHETIC EVANGELISM:
Learning to hear from God and then to be led to impact lives creatively.

SCHOOL OF THE PROPHETS:
A two week intensive equipping in spirit dynamics, church building and breakthrough believer lifestyle.

PRAISE & WORSHIP LIFESTYLE:
The heart of worship; worship lifestyle; theology of worship; dynamics of breakthrough worshippers; ignite these in your life and corporate body / the Church.

PUBLIC RELATIONS A:
Important aspects of outreach and ministry etiquette.

TEAM DYNAMICS:
The importance of functioning in a team; practical guidelines.

KINGDOM FINANCE:
Kingdom mindset in business; empowering Kingdom advancement; practical application.

CHURCH PLANTING:
Apostolic strategies for planting of churches practically explained.

   
PREACHING AND TEACHING:
Introduction to enable the Student to preach the word of God. Enabling of the Student to teach and bring forth a clear message.

STATURE DEVELOPMENT:
Students will be discipled in the academy, in small groups and in the student houses. This entails building relationship with the leaders where accountability can grow and character can be formed. Evaluation will take place in 7 facets: Discipline; character; attitude; practical lifestyle; leadership; people skills and general growth.

(C) Ministry Training:

Go on an eight week National or International tour or outreach. All students need to go on a tour in order to receive a Word Certificate of Completion. Each student needs to pass a character evaluation before they will be allowed to go on tour.

(D) Various Training Options:

FULL TIME:
Complete one year of Art Training; continue to study for a further 2nd and 3rd year; complete one year Training in any of the other Academies.

PART TIME:
Training Conference in June-July (3 weeks) & in December (2 weeks); visit any of the Creare Bases near you; weekend workshops & evening classes; visiting tour teams.

(E) Post Training Opportunities:

  • Lecturer [extra mural] at Christian or secular schools.
  • Lecturer at a Creare Training Centre.
  • Join a full time local, national or international tour team.
  • Start your own academy or training centre.
  • Become a self-employed artist.
  • Further your congregation or art school with new input and training received.
