The in-take of new full time students is in January when the Creare Training Centre opens for the first semester of the year. Students are free to join any time of the year, yet we recommend that they join in the beginning of the year.
Students will start immediately with studies when they arrive at Creare. All students will start with Word 1. Students need to complete an Academy subject and its exam, or do a self-study subject and its exam, on a weekly basis.
Dad’s Place My Home Ministries send out touring teams, consisting of 4 people, during August and September all across South Africa, and neighbouring countries (Lesotho, Venda, Swaziland, etc.).
These teams consist of students who are released as lecturers to help with national equipping, doing school outreaches, ministering in churches, to Old Age Homes, prisoners ect. (This is part of the program of a full time student.)
Students receive a Recognition statement for character development, ministry involvement and completed subjects at the graduation function once a year. Friends and family are invited to this special occasion.
OUR FATHER’S HOME CHURCH CAMP hosts a yearly camp or some form of gathering for the Bloemfontein Base, as well as for schools, ministries and churches that were planted from the Base.
The leaders in Our Father’s Home & Dad’s Place My Home Ministries, locally, nationally and internationally go for a retreat for 3-5 days per year.
The aim is to assemble all the leaders of the various bases in South Africa and abroad, for impartation, encouragement, motivation, collaboration and strategizing from the basis of seeking God’s face together.
Because of the annual Training Conferences and National Tours, holidays at Bloemfontein Creare Training Centre will not necessarily fall with the Provincial School holidays. The average holiday time is 6-7 weeks per year.
